How do you get your team to USE Salesforce??? Make it EASY and FUN!
Determine what information is important for your users to track and for management to track. We will use the Sales Department in this example. Most sales people are running around on the road making sales calls. Here are 4 top things you MUST do in order for your sales team to quickly adopt Salesforce and keep them coming back for more.
1. Salesforce Mobile app: This is on all devices (iphone, android,etc.). This is a FREE app and easy to set up. This will allow your sales people to manage their contacts while on the road and input data on-the-fly.

2. Email templates: These templates should be used for constant communications. This can be sent from Salesforce, even on your mobile device. A great example is send a Thank You email after you have met with a client:
Thank you so much for meeting with me today. Here is the information that we talked about (attachment included). Per our discussion, we are meeting next Tuesday to go over the material. Please contact me prior if you have any questions.
Thanks for your time,
Super Star Sales Person
3. Integrate Calendars: Salesforce is so awesome that it integrates with Google Calendars. You can schedule your next meeting with a client immediately. When everyone inputs their calendar into Salesforce you can see everyone’s schedule and collaborate on meeting times. Oh yes, you can access this from your mobile as well. How cool is that??
4. Dashboards: This is HUGE in any business. You always have to track and measure your efforts and results. As a sales person, you should always measure the following
I would suggest to have friendly competition and have fun with it. The sales person who makes the most calls, gets FREE ice cream for the day. Sales people are competitive, even if they just get the joy of bragging that they were the top Salesforce User
The more you track this information the better you can analyze your business but also measure your sales person’s efforts. This is a great area to show areas to improve on and grow your business.

Aloha!
Yes, another glorious day of food, friends and family. As you are finishing up your Thanksgiving meals and getting ready for the holiday season, please keep in mind our offer to donate 50% of any commissions made from links on this website go to YMCA of Honolulu.
Every little bit helps. If you would rather give donations to the YMCA, please make checks out to YMCA of Honolulu and let me know when I can come and pick it up. We are doing a team effort to raise funds for the cause. Currently, there is no online way to track cash/check donations for our team to get credit for it. Feel free to contact me via Facebook or Twitter as well.
Mahalo and we appreciate your support.

This is the week of Thanksgiving and soon it will be time to enjoy family, friends, and relaxation. Get ready with your elastic pants for a full day of feasting on the multiple options for food that bring families together.
While you are enjoying the festivities, keep in mind that not everyone is as fortunate as you to enjoy the holiday as you are able to. Give EXTRA thanks to the people at the gas station that is there so you can gas up on your way to see your family. Or the grocery clerk that is there so you can pick up the last ingredient for your meal. Or the transportation people, pilot, bus driver, taxi driver, etc. that is helping you get to your destination. Don’t forget to tip these people or give a warm smile with a warm ‘Thank you’.
Every week I reflect of what I am thankful for. I am thankful for:
Please share your 3 things that you are thankful for. Even if you don’t share here, just thinking about it is a great start.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

So, I will share my experience with Google+. I see a lot of people loving it. It’s still a little quirky for me. I think I just need to get used to it. You know, different names of actions, different buttons, different functionality.
I noticed that Google+ pulled my contacts from my gmail into Google+ so I can invite them to join my Circles. I can’t really tell if they are already on Google+ or not until I choose a Circle and then the system tells me that I should invite them to join Google+, clever.
I’m still a Facebook fan, most of my networks are on there….of course, since it’s been around longer. I like how I can choose to seen my message to certain groups of people in Google+ and not all of my Friends in Facebook. How are you liking Google+? Pros? Cons?

Web-to-lead is the BEST thing ever created since sliced bread. You are able to collect data that a customer fills out on your website and it gets AUTOMATICALLY dropped into your back-end database (of course, I use SalesForce). This eliminates data entry, human error, and a quick response time to the the leads to sales reps or customer service reps.

Alright fellow business owners, this is a MUST HAVE! I use this service through my iphone. Love it! Saves me so much time. Just CLICK-EDIT-SAVE. It’s that easy! It also gets backed up online. This will save you the tedious work of entering and keeping in contact with everyone that you have met. And YES, these contacts can get synced into Salesforce!
If you are not an iphone user, here is another alternative. Either way, don’t enter business cards again!
